Joyoung Noodle Maker Recipe: Homemade Carrot Noodles.
Today, Hubs wanted to drink carrot juice,fresh and healthy, his favorite vegetables. So, I went to buy carrots back to juice a large cup for him. Then realized all the pulp will go to waste if i were to just flush them down the sinkhole. Watudu, being the frugal person that i am, measured and poured some unbleached plain flour into the Joyoung Noodle maker. Added a pinch of salt to it. Used as much carrot juice and pulp as i could for a batch of Homemade Carrot Noodles, a few drops of garlic oil, and pressed the auto button. Carrot Noodle is a dish made of carrot and flour as the main Ingredient.
This is the second time i'm making noodles today. First was just a batch of plain ones as you can see in the container beneath my hand. I really do love to see the small orangey carrot bits along the noodle strands. Arent they lovely? Come to think of it, i should have added honey to the liquid mixture. My kids loved the batch of Homemade Wholemeal Honey Noodles i made earlier. Maybe tomorrow when someone wants to drink carrot juice!
